Refund policy
Return & Refund Policy
Jarvis AI is a digital software product delivered electronically. The terms below are written for a downloadable product, not physical goods. Please read this policy in full, along with our FAQs, system requirements, and product description, before you buy.
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full, including the eligibility rules and evidence requirements below.
How Jarvis AI Works (Please Read Before Purchasing)
Jarvis AI is a one-time software purchase. The software itself is the product you are buying. Jarvis does not include or come with any AI usage, credits, voice generation, or processing power from us.
To power Jarvis, you must provide your own third-party API keys and your own accounts. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Your own Anthropic / Claude account and API key to power Jarvis responses.
- A separate third-party voice API key (for example, ElevenLabs) if you want to use Jarvis voice features. Voice generation is powered by a third-party provider, is billed by that provider, and is not included in the price of Jarvis. This is disclosed on our product page, at checkout, and in our FAQs.
This means:
- You create and pay for your own API keys and accounts directly with those providers.
- All usage costs you run up with those providers are yours, and are completely separate from the price you paid us.
- We do not fund, supply, top up, or control third-party API keys. We are not responsible for third-party pricing, usage limits, rate limits, billing, model changes, or account changes.
How your data flows: Jarvis runs on your own device, but to generate responses it securely sends your requests to the third-party AI providers whose API keys you connect (for example, Claude / Anthropic and ElevenLabs). Those requests are handled under each provider's own privacy and data terms. We do not store, read, or sell the content of your requests. This is how the software is designed to work, and it is disclosed before purchase.
Because the bring-your-own-keys model, the separate voice key, and the third-party routing are all clearly disclosed before payment, the following are not valid reasons for a refund:
- You did not want to, or were not able to, set up your own API keys or accounts.
- You did not realise the product needs your own API keys.
- You did not realise voice features require a separate paid third-party key.
- You did not want to pay the third-party usage costs charged by those providers.
- You were not comfortable with Jarvis sending your requests to the third-party AI providers you connect. This routing is how the software functions and is disclosed before purchase.
Why we work this way: Jarvis is a low-cost, one-time purchase. If we funded API usage for every customer for life, even a few cents per user per day would stack into thousands of dollars, and we would be forced to either shut down or charge a high monthly fee with strict usage limits. Bring-your-own-keys keeps Jarvis a fair, one-time price and lets you use it as much as you like, without us limiting you.
About Third-Party API Costs (Important)
Jarvis runs on your own third-party API keys, and those providers charge you per use. This is a metered, usage-based cost. There is no single fixed daily price, because your cost depends entirely on you:
- How often and how much you use Jarvis.
- Which model and which settings you choose.
- How long and how complex your requests are.
- The provider's own current pricing, which the provider sets and can change at any time.
Because of this, any cost figures we share (in our setup video, FAQs, or product page) are illustrative examples only, not a promise, quote, or guarantee of your cost. A light user and a heavy user will pay very different amounts for the same software. We do not set these prices, we do not bill them, and we cannot control how much you choose to use.
Your exact usage and exact cost are always visible to you, in real time, inside your own provider dashboard (for example, your Anthropic console or your ElevenLabs dashboard). You are in full control of your own usage and spend at all times.
Third-party usage cost is never a valid reason for a refund of the Jarvis software price. This includes, but is not limited to:
- You used more API credits than you expected.
- Your cost was higher than an example figure we shared.
- You did not want to keep paying per-use provider charges.
- You feel the provider's pricing is too high.
The price you paid us is for the software. It is completely separate from what your providers charge you for your own usage. Using the software means you have used and received the product.
If you still wish to raise a cost concern, you must provide a billing export or dated screenshot from your own provider dashboard showing the exact usage you are claiming. We cannot review any cost concern without this evidence, because only your provider account holds your true usage data. Unevidenced cost claims, or claimed costs that your own provider dashboard does not support, are not eligible for any refund or remedy.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. You have 7 days from the date your access is delivered to request a refund. This 7-day window is the only money-back period we offer. Any other figure stated, assumed, or quoted by a customer (for example, 14 or 30 days) does not apply and is not binding on us.
To be eligible:
- Your request must reach us within 7 days of access being delivered.
- You must include your order confirmation or proof of purchase.
- You must include a detailed, genuine, accurate explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
- For any defect or performance claim, you must first complete the troubleshooting and evidence steps below.
To start a request, email team@tryjarvisai.com.
Defect and "Not Working As Described" Claims (Evidence Required)
We stand behind Jarvis, and if it genuinely fails we will make it right. But to keep the guarantee fair and to prevent abuse, a claim that the software is faulty, slow, freezing, or "not working as described" is only eligible for a refund if all of the following are met:
- You contacted support first. You emailed team@tryjarvisai.com describing the issue, and gave our team a genuine chance to diagnose and resolve it. Most issues are small setup steps fixed the same day.
- You completed a support session. If we offer a troubleshooting session, screen-share, or step-by-step fix, you must complete it. Declining reasonable support makes a defect claim ineligible.
- You provided evidence. You supplied a short screen recording or clear screenshots showing the actual problem and any error messages, so we can see and reproduce it.
- The issue could not be resolved. After the above, the problem genuinely remained unresolved on a supported, up-to-date system.
A claim that simply states the software is "slow," "freezes," or "doesn't work," with no evidence and no completed support session, does not qualify. This is not us avoiding genuine faults. It is us making sure we can actually see, reproduce, and fix the problem, which is the only way we can tell a real defect apart from a setup issue or a change-of-mind request.
Refund Requests Must Include a Detailed, Honest Reason
A detailed written explanation of your reason is required, sent within the 7-day window. This lets us understand and fix real problems instead of losing customers over issues we could have solved in minutes.
- If you do not provide a genuine, detailed reason within 7 days, your request is not eligible.
- Refund requests that contain false, exaggerated, or misrepresented claims (for example, claimed costs or behaviour that your own provider data or our diagnostics contradict) are not eligible.
- After the 7-day window closes, all orders are final and refunds are no longer available, except where required by applicable law.
Reasons That Are Not Eligible for a Refund
This guarantee protects you against genuine, evidenced problems, not change of mind. The following are not eligible:
- You changed your mind or no longer want the product.
- You did not read the product description, FAQs, or system requirements before buying.
- You did not want to, or could not, provide your own API keys or accounts.
- You did not want to pay the per-use third-party API costs charged by the providers, or your usage cost more than you expected.
- You did not realise voice features require a separate paid third-party API key. This is disclosed before purchase.
- You were not comfortable with Jarvis sending your requests to the third-party AI providers you connect. This routing is how the software works and is disclosed before purchase.
- You found the setup too complicated, but did not complete our setup video and did not let our support team help you. We provide a full step-by-step setup video and same-day support.
- You raised a defect or cost claim but did not complete the troubleshooting and evidence steps above.
- You bought the product by mistake, bought the wrong product, or bought more than one.
- You found a cheaper or alternative product elsewhere.
- You no longer need it, or simply did not use it.
- Your device does not meet the system requirements that were listed before purchase.
Wrong Email Used at Purchase
If you entered the wrong email address at checkout, this is not a reason for a refund. Your purchase, access, and license are still valid. Simply email team@tryjarvisai.com and we will update your email and make sure your access and license details reach the correct inbox.
Setup Help (Required Before a Defect Refund)
Most "it won't work" situations are small setup steps that are quick to fix. Before any defect-based refund can be considered, you must:
- Watch our full setup video tutorial.
- Check our FAQs.
- Email team@tryjarvisai.com so our team can help you directly, and complete any troubleshooting we offer.
We would much rather get you up and running than lose you as a customer, and most issues are solved the same day.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem, contact us first at team@tryjarvisai.com so we can resolve it. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us and allowing us to help is not a substitute for this policy. We keep full records of disclosures, delivery, access, and support, and we will respond to disputes with that evidence.
Pre-order Definition
A pre-order is a purchase of a product that is not yet available for immediate access but is expected to become available within a specified timeframe. Products labelled "Pre-order" on our website are pre-order products.
Pre-order Fulfillment
Jarvis AI is currently available on a pre-order basis. Access is expected to begin rolling out around June 30th, 2026. This is an estimate only and may take longer. Fulfillment may extend to July 30th, 2026 or beyond as we finalise the release. Pre-order customers receive access in waves, and you will be notified by email with your download and activation details as soon as your access is ready. These dates are estimates and may change.
Refund Policy for Pre-orders
Due to the nature of pre-orders, you may request a refund at any time before your access has been delivered. Once access to the software has been delivered to you, refund requests are handled under the 7-day money-back guarantee above, beginning from the date access was delivered.
Issues & Defects
Please test Jarvis AI once your access is delivered, and contact us immediately at team@tryjarvisai.com if the software fails to activate, will not run on a supported system, or is not working as described, so we can evaluate the issue, see the evidence, and make it right.
System Requirements
Jarvis AI runs on Windows and macOS. Please make sure your computer meets the current system requirements before purchasing. If you are unable to run the software on a supported and up-to-date system, you complete the troubleshooting and evidence steps above, and we cannot resolve it with you, you are covered under the money-back guarantee above.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have reviewed your refund request and let you know whether it was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, please contact our support team at team@tryjarvisai.com.
